How is the visit to the distillery?

The visit allows you to tour one of the oldest rum cellars in Europe, made up of 4,700 American oak barrels and learn how to make these rums so loved in our lands.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – On September 25, 2026, La Destilería Arehucas will be closed to the public for the entire day due to a private event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

THE VISIT

This walk through the history of rum in the Canary Islands lasts approximately 1 hour and consists of 5 phases:

Origin of Arehucas.
Visit to the aging cellar.
Learn about the rum production process and visit the mill and the fermentation and distillation rooms.
Bottling plant.
Tasting a selection of our wide variety of rums and spirits.

At the end of the visit you can buy the products of Destilerías AREHUCAS.

Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
(Except holidays)

The price of the visit is 10€.
No reservation is necessary.
Free Parking (according to availability).
Visit adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Kids free.

We would like to inform you that, on occasions, due to capacity restrictions or scheduled events, we may be required to close the doors of our Visitor Centre before the end of the advertised opening hours. Thanks for your understanding.
